Cabin annoucements

Hi, does the A340 not have any cabin announcements, or am I doing something wrong? They're great in the A350, and I think it's a shame if the A340 doesn't have them.

Yes, cabin announcements are included with the aircraft. Double check your volume settings via the EFB.

In that case, I would like to report that they are not working for me. 🤔 The announcements on the EFB are set to 100%, and the PA and CAB buttons are turned on. (Air France F-GLZM livery)

i see (hear) the same thing happening. I also think it's happening when switching to outside view, which i frequently do in pushback for instance, because it looks cool 😄 . if i do so , cabin calls are interrupted and then disappear entirely for the duration of the flight. I tried a short flight without ever going to outside view and had cabin calls from start to end. if i only go to outside view once, cabin calls are not present anymore, naturally with PA and CAB on and set to full audio volume.
