Pionites Posted Saturday at 07:12 AM Posted Saturday at 07:12 AM I did some more research and found that you've started using your own coding of KTX2 files. While I understand and support the need to protect yourself from piracy, and you're a company, not a charity after all. However, I think this has gone a step too far. You've taken away the ability for users to create "their" aircraft without mentioning it anywhere... and I admit, if I'd known, I wouldn't have spent a penny on this product. I'm the kind of user who derives pleasure not only from virtual flying (especially older and unusual aircrafts), but the pleasure is even greater when I can create a vibrant, interesting, and colorful paint job for the aircraft I use. After a hard day's work and hardships, such a moment of brain-deadening substance painter scribbles is a blessing. I won't ask you to change the coding, but I do ask that you adapt to the new situation and approach the user more effectively: expand the paintkit. Add COMP layers to the external parts. You have created a beautiful Gulf Air livery that utilizes editing these layers - why am I, as a user, limited in this? Add the ability to edit basic interior: seat colors, carpet, seat screens, and the ability to place an additional decal in a designated spot in the cockpit. It's not about editing everything, as that defeats the purpose... but rather what you see and what is an integral part of the livery/identification. I hope you understand my point and will consider the issue. Level the playing field between you and the user. I hope the community will support me in this matter. 1
