Nexter4 Posted October 12 Posted October 12 What you are hearing is the RAT (Ram Air Turbine) sound. So that is completly normal in your case, cuz you are flying an aircraft which have lost its power... You have no more engines and so no more electrical and hydraulic power, so the RAT falls out to provide to the aircraft the necessary power for the flight controls and certain amount of displays in the cockpit.
limbo Posted October 14 Posted October 14 As the other comment says, it's the RAT. It shouldn't be a problem if you don't fly in external view. To anyone that does consider yourself a weirdo and don't buy aircraft like this.
