Beurreesale Posted Tuesday at 09:01 PM Posted Tuesday at 09:01 PM Hello, I would like to thank again for providing to the community this beautiful airplane. I observed than the initial ROC is maybe too much. Between 2000 and 2500ft/min and even at heavy weight and It doesn’t give the feeling that the aircraft is struggling to climb. Looking over-powered. In reality the A343 just after lift off has a ROC very very low. Around 1600 1700ft/min. As you can see here as an example of a real A343 Take Off: Even at low weight the A343 got a very weak Rate of Climb and I hope this will be improve later. This Topic following my previous one that which I can’t find anymore where I suggested engines and spool-up behaviour (the initial spool-up is too fast and from 50% N1 to Flex THR, It’s too slow). It should be the opposite. Once again, Thank you so much for this addon that a lot of people were waiting for so many years and the quality of It. Looking forward for futurs updates ! Best regards.
limbo Posted Tuesday at 09:51 PM Posted Tuesday at 09:51 PM The Variant ini has the made, the 313 has slightly more powerful engines that generate more thrust could be the reason why it has a higher ROC, take what I say with a grain of salt till ini staff respond

I don’t think the variant will change something. The addon is over-powered at the moment but still a release version and the work is nice at moment but the experience may be wonderful with the low ROC which make the identity of the 340-300. Regards ! 1
limbo Posted Wednesday at 05:52 AM Posted Wednesday at 05:52 AM Fair enough not defending inibuilds, could always be a mistake but couldn't air temperature and weather have an effect on engines? Not sure about weights but eh maybe it could be resolved, hope someone part of staff responds soon to comment on this.
SgtPepper Posted Wednesday at 08:05 AM Posted Wednesday at 08:05 AM When i see the weather they might have had engine anti-ice enabled which also has a significant impact on ROC

Even On It doesn’t affect the ROC by 1000ft/min. I think at the moment the Ini A340 is overpowered. Here is an other example of a real A340 taking off and we can see the airplane struggling to even be above 1000 ft/min after lift off: 5min45 On YouTube, we can see a ton of video of the Airbus A340 nearly hit the tail etc… So I hope the Ini team will work on It cause this is the identity of this airplane. Regards.
