tclayton2k Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Every picture I see of a YS-11 parked shows the props at flat pitch, yet the plane spawns with the props feathered, and when shutting down with the levers just at the fuel cutoff point (not all the way to feathered), the props spin down to a feathered position. Is this correct? If not, can it be addressed in an update? 1
STK Posted September 28 Posted September 28 I've also noticed that the props will stop quickly in the feathered position no matter what, and the RPM gauges inside will still be winding down even thought the props are stopped.
Alexair Posted September 28 Posted September 28 It is wrong indeed. The prop should not go into feather unless you select feather. So, for normal operations, the prop should remain high pitch and it take actually much longer time to have the prop stopped. Need to be fixed.
