heistema Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Hi, I just bought the plane and I went carefully through the checklist. However the starter is not clickable (or interoperable) like e.g. the parking brake is. So I cannot start the engine. Does somebody has a clue? Thanks
DuRo55 Posted August 22 Posted August 22 (edited) Hello heistema, seems we have the same issues. I guess you updated 2024 to SU3, right? I would suggest to open a bug ticket with their support. I did that a couple of minutes before. Maybe it gets more attention as here in forum. Edited August 22 by DuRo55
Eddie Posted August 23 Posted August 23 Hello, Seems like something did indeed break; we were able to reproduce the issue and will look into it as soon as possible. Thank you and I appreciate your patience! 🙂 EddieCommunity Manager iniBuilds Ltd. | inibuilds.com
DuRo55 Posted August 23 Posted August 23 Hello Eddie, please have a look for the LG/SYS switch as it is not working too. You can klick it, but nothing happens and its unclear for what this switch basicly is. Thank you!
Eddie Posted August 23 Posted August 23 We'll have a look there too. I do want to add, the parking brake works just fine our end - please double check there are no conflicting binds that could be messing that up. Thank you 🙂 EddieCommunity Manager iniBuilds Ltd. | inibuilds.com
DuRo55 Posted August 23 Posted August 23 Hello, ich I did not write anything about parking break?! The Brake works fine here. I Was asking for L/G Sys switch which seems to do just nothing. And if you could overhaul the Landung flaps too, they do not work as expected. sometimes they go to full flaps, sometimes not or they Stick some where in the middle. Thanks again!!
Eddie Posted August 23 Posted August 23 I know, but the original poster of this thread mentioned the parking brake not working; apologies, should've made it more clear. We'll take a look at the flaps as well but a little more detail is welcome. EddieCommunity Manager iniBuilds Ltd. | inibuilds.com
heistema Posted August 23 Author Posted August 23 Thanks for the reply 🙂 No, the parking brake works fine - I guess. I just wanted to illustrate that the starter switch doesn't work like the parking brake switch does (because unclickable). I have the Steam version of MSFS and didn't knew that i have SU 3 installed, but I am wondering is there a way to opt-out for the SU3? Should I do that? Thanks
Eddie Posted August 23 Posted August 23 Ah ok now I understand. As mentioned, we'll take a look at the starter switch 🫡 As for SU3, it just went live Wednesday this week - there is no other version of FS2024 at this time. 1 EddieCommunity Manager iniBuilds Ltd. | inibuilds.com
DuRo55 Posted August 24 Posted August 24 Just to make it clear, parkbrake is fine, starter switch not clickable, L/G sys switch clickable but do nothing, flaps are not controlable. If one click on the flaps switch for movibg them down the flaps react but go to 20 degrees or 60 or full or other degrees. Same is for flaps up. It is just not predictable to what position the flaps goes up/down when you click the flaps switch. I mean the belly flaps have the same issue, but I dont know exactly, have to test that. Thanks a lot for any fix. 1

Thanks No, you cannot opt-out any version and you have to mandatory upgrade your version if a new is available. The only possibility is to switch back when you are running a beta version, i. e. SU3beta, then you can opt-out and switch back to SU2realease. But as SU3release ist out now you cannot roll-back to a former version. Edited August 24 by DuRo55
DuRo55 Posted August 24 Posted August 24 (edited) 13 hours ago, Eddie said: We'll take a look at the flaps as well but a little more detail is welcome. Here is a list of the wing flaps behaviour. As you can see the flaps position is not consistent for clicking up/down. Please take a look at the sequence following: 1st click on button down: wingflaps = 35 degrees 2nd click on button down: wingflaps = 45 degrees 1st click on button up: 20 degrees 2nd click on button: 0 degrees 3rd click down: 15 4th click down: 45 3rd click up: 15 4th click up: 0 5th click down: 17 6th click down: 41 7th click down: 45 5th click up: 12 6th click up: 3 7th click up: 0 If I compare the general behaviour of wingflaps and bellyflaps it's totally different (and I think it's not intentionally). The bellyflaps move approx. 1 degree up and dow for every switch click and I assume this is correct so. But the movement of the wingflats is totally strange. Edited August 24 by DuRo55 1
DuRo55 Posted August 24 Posted August 24 (edited) Hello Eddie, attached you can find a video that I made to show you another bug in Spartan. Battery switch is ON, Avionics switch is OFF, nothing else unchanged. As you can see, the 530/430 and transponder flashes every 10-15sec or so. You can hera a click sound sometimes (as if one switches anything, but there is nothing to see). This flickering stops if avionics are switched on. Maybe your devs could look at this too, as there is something going wrong in the background electrical system. YouCut_20250824_112848251.mp4 Edited August 24 by DuRo55 1
