[KNOWN ISSUE] FS2024 SU2 Broke A400 when Cold Start-CHOCKS

Featured Replies

The SU2 has just been released and I cannot move de A400 when starting cold. I believe the problem is the game seems to think the chocks are still on.

The chocks now appear correctly and are removed by clicking them, but the option of removing them from the EFB is no longer available, just the GPU, I don't know if this might be the problem.

I'm in Free flight.

Только что вышел SU2, и я не могу сдвинуть A400 с места при холодном запуске.

I confirm that I have the same problem.

Same here.

UPDATE: Here is what I tried: Delete the WASM directory for the a400m, delete the streamed package to force a re-download, I also use developer mode to remove the chocks. The plane still does not move

The same problem here. The brakes stuck. I can't believe that IniBuilds don't even test their aircraft.

Hello,

I have reported this to the team. Thank you for you patience.

Hopefully it will be fixed soon, because we can't fly anymore!

Hello, I have done some digging for you. This is a MSFS issue and has been known about for a while, but due to it being a Microsoft product, there is no saying when an update will be available to users. The only work around atm is to change your panel state. Thanks for your patience.

ok and what is "change your panel state" exactly?

You can with the onboard EFB change your panel state. To switch directly in "Cold and Dark" or "Ready for taxi", etc.

When you started up the aircraft and you are ready for the pushback or taxi, you can trigger the "Ready for taxi" (I think its cold like that) state via EFB and then the chocks are gone and you can taxi. Maybe the lights are not quite correct after that but it works for the moment.

Change panel state didn't helped for me, I changed to ready for takeoff (there is no ready to taxi), got message in EFB that chocks are removed but I still had them on wheels. And couidn't taxi.

Okey then its "ready for takeoff". Did you remove the chocks before starting the aircraft? When I "spawn" at the airport, I remove the chocks on the walkaround and then after the startup changing the state to "ready for takeoff". Like this its working for me.

No, I was watching videos on youtube before flight and they had remove chocks option in EFB, after you start the plane you can't get out of cockpit anymore to remove chocks, I will have to remember to do it before starting plane.

EDIT: I can confirm this works.

Thanks CptSpeirs
