WASM Crash On Descent

Featured Replies

Got a WASM crash on descent into EFHK from RJTT. I had not done anything to cause the crash...the STAR and approach were already loaded with a discontinuity between the end of the STAR and the approach. The crash happened at about 11000ft on the LUSEP5A arrival with the ILS 22L previously loaded. I was not even interacting at all with the sim when the panels froze and WASM crashed.

I cant help with the why, but Ive noticed loads of people having WASM crashes using Navigraph as the navigation source. And you error code suggests an issue reading Navigraph. Since switching to the MSFS database I havent had any crashes related to flightplans. As far as I know there is no benefit using one compared to the other so is worth a try. The sims database gets uploaded almost monthly anyway (currently on AIRAC 2502) I got a few crashes uplinking flight plans using the Navigraph source but 0 crashes since switching.
