rhpa23 Posted March 2, 2025 Posted March 2, 2025 When flying with BeyondATC radios are not auto-tuning properly. Sometimes, it works but mostly not. In their Discord, Dialex informs that "BeyondATC uses regular SimConnect events to interact with all aircraft in the simulator. This means there might be a problem that the iniBuilds team has to solve." 7
sb380 Posted March 2, 2025 Posted March 2, 2025 This needs to be addressed as a high priority for Ini to support sim connect functionality so that they can cater to more use and play styles...
Speedbird193 Posted March 3, 2025 Posted March 3, 2025 Agreed, this needs an urgent fix. BATC is a very common add on and it should really work with it.
DroneSim Posted March 3, 2025 Posted March 3, 2025 I noticed this issue with a lot of other aircraft. I’m not sure if it’s directly related to the A350. __________________________________________ 📺 YouTube: DroneSim

Never had this happen with the Fenix or the PMDG and BATC have stated on their Discord that it’s due to the way the A350 works. The FBW A380 had the same issue initially until FBW fixed it. So yes, it’s definitely directly related to this aircraft. 2
Tripdog87 Posted March 4, 2025 Posted March 4, 2025 I noticed it to, it’s intermittent for me but there is certain frequencies that will auto tune over to and certain ones that don’t.
rhpa23 Posted March 7, 2025 Author Posted March 7, 2025 Does anyone know if this issue was fixed in update V1.0.2 ?
VagnPetersen Posted March 8, 2025 Posted March 8, 2025 Sadly no. The issue was not fixed in update V1.0.2 😞 1
frank_m Posted March 10, 2025 Posted March 10, 2025 (edited) Today, I have tested the COM1 and COM2 frequency tuning using a Python script via SimConnect. While it worked for inibuilds A320 or A330 flawlessly, for the A350 around 50% of the frequency changes failed. I used the Events "COM_STBY_RADIO_SET" and "COM_RADIO_FRACT_INC_CARRY" in order to set the radio frequency. There is no error message or similar, it just fails. Edited March 10, 2025 by frank_m 2
atlantixyl Posted March 11, 2025 Posted March 11, 2025 Yep, without it, I have to stay awake for the entire flight to switch frequencies 1
nmahink Posted March 13, 2025 Posted March 13, 2025 I really hope the team will look into this. It is also a bug in the MSFS20 version as well.
whakamole Posted March 15, 2025 Posted March 15, 2025 As one of the devs of BeyondATC - as noted by frank_m this completely related to the A350 only responding to simconnect events for the com radios some of the time and we don't see the problem with any other aircraft. 4
Speedbird193 Posted March 15, 2025 Posted March 15, 2025 Is this on the list of things to get fixed, ini? Great to see the 1.0.4 change log but no mention of it and this is a major inconvenience for all of us using BATC with the 350! 1
RJC68 Posted March 15, 2025 Posted March 15, 2025 I just read the change log for 1.0.4 in the hope this had been fixed but sadly looks like it has not been addressed yet, really need this addressed for both sims 2
MrMe85 Posted March 22, 2025 Posted March 22, 2025 I notice that this problem is intermittent. It would sometimes work and other times will not work at all. 2
carmicwl Posted March 23, 2025 Posted March 23, 2025 I'll chime in as well with a request for this to be fixed 2
RJC68 Posted March 29, 2025 Posted March 29, 2025 Has this been fixed with the 1.06 update that just released?
