AlexEDLE Posted December 11 Posted December 11 With the Cargo PW Premium, I have graphics performance drops every second or so. This can be clearly seen in the FPS viewer in the Developer Mode in the upper graph with high red spikes. The effect is a stutter every second, which is really very unpleasant. The frequency and intensity of the spikes change depending on the camera settings. It is very present in the external view. I don't have this phenomenon in the A310 or Passenger PW, for example. What could be the reason? System: i9-13900K - RTX 4090 - 64GB RAM
AlexEDLE Posted December 11 Author Posted December 11 Edit: Same with the Cargo GE, with Passenger GE no regular stutters.
youp0305 Posted December 11 Posted December 11 Same issue here with a 4090 and a AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D 1
Fornax Posted December 12 Posted December 12 Same here. All kind of problems with the A300 Premium in 2024. Pax GE. Strange stutter (un-smooth) movement as I pan around: like move-stop-move-stop, although fps shows stable. Just trying to select the UPS livery, my system grinds to a halt. 13fps. And this is just in livery selector. And every time I try to go back to Main Menu, sim freezes at it zooms back...just with this AC - seems like any livery. Reinstalled 3 times. Deleted A300 folder completely in Community (as Uninstall doesn't delete it completely?). 4080, 7900x3d, 64GB ram. 1
Matteo Spacca Posted December 12 Posted December 12 Same for me the first time I loaded in. After restart I did’t have the issue anymore Matteo
Fornax Posted December 13 Posted December 13 Noticed this thread: https://devsupport.flightsimulator.com/t/massive-performance-cpu-issues-in-certain-locations-in-1-2-7-0/12097/2 Seems like some areas/airports a buggy. Of course I had to try the A300Prem at one of those places;) The "stutter" in the video was exactly as I had it. Tried different area/airport and all is good now...
simonedestradis Posted December 14 Posted December 14 Hi everyone, I'm also connecting to this post, this happens to me: I did a couple of identical flights as a test. I leave from Olbia and arrive at Fiumicino, both Msfs20 pay airports transferred to '24. In Olbia everything is ok, I always have between 80/100 fps, but on arrival at Fiumicino the performance drops terribly, even reaching 10/15 fps. The cause cannot be the Fiumicino scenario, because if I take off from here, I always see 80/100 fps, the problem is always the arrival. I also have the Fenix and the RJ from Just Flight and I don't have these problems. 3080TI and Ryzen 5800X3d.
Matteo Spacca Posted December 16 Posted December 16 Same here. Sometimes all ok some others stutters every second. I does not depends on location. Tried EDDP with the PW Freighter. First flight stutter second and 3rd all fine...today stutters every second again. 4090 + 7800X3D
richboy2307 Posted December 16 Posted December 16 Hi everyone, Thanks for your reports. We need more data in order find the potential cause, and thereby a solution to this issue. We're as yet unable to reproduce such stutters on our test systems so your co-operation will be greatly appreciated. We request everyone affected to include the following when you're experiencing the issue: A screenshot of your entire in-sim FPS counter window Your specs (CPU, GPU and RAM) IMPORTANT: Please conduct this after spawning on the Runway 10 at TNCM (set time local time to Noon and Clear Skies weather preset) Once everyone is testing in exact same area and conditions, will also help us to analyse this data better. The above screenshot is what I'm personally seeing on PW F for example (DHL D-AEAF livery) on my 5800x3D, 3090 and 32GB of RAM in this test. Other things to try meanwhile: Clear your A300 WASM folder: https://forum.inibuilds.com/topic/24448-how-to-clear-the-wasm-folder/ Reinstall the A300 package after Ensure you do not have FSUIPC running + no FSUIPC-lvar-module in your community folder as users have reported problems with this. Try running with an empty community folder (just the inibuilds-aircraft-a300 folder in there) to rule out potential add-on conflicts Use default community folder - Some users have reported issues when using a custom user-defined Community Folder path instead of the default ones. To see if you're affected, you may try to only use the default community folder paths for testing: Steam: Quote %APPDATA%\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024\Packages\Community MS Store: Quote %LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community Thanks! To eliminate the annoying "ghosting" effect of Pfd and Nd when using Dlss (performance), I had set "SecondaryScaling" in the User.cfg to 2 instead of 1. Today instead I brought the value back to 1, and set the Dlss in Dlaa: perfect flight, without the slightest micro stuttering, and above all in arrival (where I always had with A300 a terrible drop to 10/15 fps) no drop, I always had between 60/80 fps. the only problem is that on the a300 the ghosting effect is terrible, much worse than on other planes.
