Can't load plan from msfs EFB to all iniBuilds Airbus aircraft

Hello,

I apologise for creating a new post, but as my previous one was locked

You told me that it wasn't possible to integrate the new EFB into your tablet, because the documentation doesn't exist and neither do the APIs. However, I found it here: Electronic Flight Bag API

What's more, Navigraph has managed to integrate its applications into the game's basic EFB.
Is this really a problem of technical feasibility, or did Microsoft simply not ask for the EFB to be added by default in the specifications?

Regards,
HawxNS

PS : This request is valid for all Airbus, I didn't want to create a post in each sub-forum.

Apparently the in game EFB is not syncing with all iniBuilds aircraft (the different EFB on the side) and when I click send route to avionics nothing happens this also happens when I have set a custom route from MCDU and request it from EFB

I completely agree with your points. The integration of the new EFB into the inibuilds tablet is crucial for a seamless experience. It’s surprising to hear that the documentation and APIs are claimed to be non-existent, especially since you’ve found the Electronic Flight Bag API.

Furthermore, the fact that Navigraph has successfully integrated its applications into the game’s basic EFB suggests that technical feasibility might not be the real issue here. It raises the question of whether the integration was simply not prioritized in the specifications provided by Microsoft.

This feature is essential for all Airbus aircraft, and having it integrated would greatly enhance the user experience. I hope both inibuilds and Microsoft can address this and provide a solution soon.

Thank you for bringing this up!

Best regards

You can read the statement again:

The new universal EFB available in MSFS 2024 is currently only interactable via the dedicated Toolbar Panel 2D Window. At launch, the requisite API/Documentation which would allow for integration of its features independently to the first party airbus aircraft (especially in 3D) is unfortunately unavailable.

Keyword here being independently. That documentation is pertaining to adding the sim's EFB in its entirety (as is) into a 3D model/display. What Navigraph is doing is adding pages within EFB panel itself.

These are not the same things. These do not allow for integration of individual elements/functions for a seamless experience outside of the "stock" systems environment.

As mentioned in the previous post, the best way forward is still the same:

So for such feedback we recommend sharing on the MS Forums directly, specifically the Wishlist section (https://forums.flightsimulator.com/c/official/wishlist/163) such that those who can make such decisions have visibility on these requests.

We're not saying it can never be done. We're not saying we won't do it. All we're saying is that the decision (be it for capability in the SDK or to add such integration on Microsoft Airbus aircraft) is not ours to make, so please make your requests/feedback known in the appropriate channels.

Thanks!
