i think i might be taking it too far with this one, since the product is obviously not meant (probably out of scope) to model operation in this part of the envelope, but here goes:

At low speed, in ALT* or V/S mode, if the ATS cannot maintain the requested vertical speed (selected v/s), the aircraft will depart from the commanded trajectory as the AP/FD gives orders to maintain a vertical speed (controlled VS) which avoid flying below VLS - 5kt.

which it does not...Speed falls way beyond minimum speed and sooner or later the AP disconnects...
