flykorni Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Hi! Maybe I'm missing something here, but on V1.02 it's impossible to steer the front gear via the rudders unless that option is enabled in the EFB. I'd like to be able to steer the front gear with the rudders in small angles in low speed regime, just as IRL, without enabling the rudder steer option (as this overrides the tiller axis completely). Hope it's clear what I mean...😁 Cheers, Wolfgang
JetNoise Posted January 6 Posted January 6 idk, but in real life, you would use the tiller to steer the aircraft on the ground. Once on take-off roll, rudder takes over at higher speeds, bc of increasing rudder authority. So u need to shift from tiller steering to rudder steering dynamicly....
Nevermind1982 Posted January 6 Posted January 6 I know in the 737 rudder is also controlling the nose gear, but just with a very small angle, i think it was around 7 degreese, it would be nice if someone who have flown the aircraft could clarify how it is in real life with the A300
JF1997 Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Echoing this, the small angles on the ground the rudder just don't work, if you look closely the aircraft does try to do something but then twitches back. Also the takeoff now with the rudder authority is terrible, pulls to the left heavily under 100kts and as soon as you pass 100kts its suddenly less sensitive but still pulling to the left.
bluefly330 Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Yup same problem here, worked before the latest update 2
Marcocessna84 Posted January 6 Posted January 6 From my experience in the sim, if you change the realism, gyro, p-factor etc… this helps a little with the left tendency pulling. Try it out. As far as the steering and tiller. I use my capt stick with pedals combined.
