airbadger Posted December 29, 2023 Posted December 29, 2023 I'm encountering a CTD in the following situation: Livery - DHL D-AEAF Airport - Aerosoft EBBR/Brussels Optimized texture option I've done three load-ins in this scenario and it has crashed 2 out of 3 attempts. Marcocessna84 Posted December 29, 2023 Posted December 29, 2023 Am getting the same problem with UPS /KSDF/ HIGH END PC/ regular settings. Yesterday I had no problems Windows 11 Home Insider Preview 64-bit CPU Intel Core i7 10700K @ 3.80GHz RAM 32.0GB Dual-Channel DDR4 @ 1066MHz (15-15-15-36) Motherboard MPG Z490 GAMING EDGE WIFIATI AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT 12GB Gigabyte)
donkeys Posted December 29, 2023 Posted December 29, 2023 Also had this issue twice loading into the airport.
thestels2020 Posted December 29, 2023 Posted December 29, 2023 if you have problems with CTD then try downloading the liveries again from the forum, it should help
cconesa Posted December 29, 2023 Posted December 29, 2023 (edited) Out of interest, did you have the exterior light fix available at flightsim.to installed? (that is, prior to the release of update v1.01) Edited December 29, 2023 by cconesa
Deleted Account Posted December 29, 2023 Posted December 29, 2023 Thanks, we are already looking into this 🙂
cconesa Posted December 29, 2023 Posted December 29, 2023 Is this a similar situation we are experiencing with the A310? 1
Marcocessna84 Posted December 30, 2023 Posted December 30, 2023 So, Turns out since I am using FS Realistic this program has caused my sim to crash when it was not loaded and I had the A300 loading. Not 100% sure if this was or was not the reason. I figured it should be shared just in case anyone else is running it in the backround. Cheers. Windows 11 Home Insider Preview 64-bit CPU Intel Core i7 10700K @ 3.80GHz RAM 32.0GB Dual-Channel DDR4 @ 1066MHz (15-15-15-36) Motherboard MPG Z490 GAMING EDGE WIFIATI AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT 12GB Gigabyte)
Marcocessna84 Posted December 30, 2023 Posted December 30, 2023 @CharlySeven are you running any programs (add on) parallel to starting the sim? Have you tried to reinstall the A300 newly and see if the same problem persist? I had FS Realistic starting and when cancelling it without proper uninstalling it caused my sim to crash now mind you I have a high end pc. Can you check your event viewer at the next CTD and let us know. Thanks Windows 11 Home Insider Preview 64-bit CPU Intel Core i7 10700K @ 3.80GHz RAM 32.0GB Dual-Channel DDR4 @ 1066MHz (15-15-15-36) Motherboard MPG Z490 GAMING EDGE WIFIATI AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT 12GB Gigabyte)

Emma Peel Posted December 30, 2023 Posted December 30, 2023 Same on my system. It happend while loading the cargo version, update 1.0.1 had already been installed. A retry with exactly the same settings has been successfull. pizzamonster Posted December 30, 2023 Posted December 30, 2023 I just done new liveries update from IniManager and first time load to the airport without CTD. The liveries causing this problem?
Marcocessna84 Posted December 30, 2023 Posted December 30, 2023 @pizzamonster try do download the texture directly from the page and install them. Wonder if that might be the reason. 17 hours ago, scottie2950 said: As the tittle suggests I am getting a constant CTD when i click load flight but only with the passenger variant. Is the virtual cabin to much and causing it? Anyone else experiencing this or any CTD On 12/29/2023 at 7:33 AM, CharlySeven said: Same here. pizzamonster Posted December 30, 2023 Posted December 30, 2023 There was update for all liveries via IniManager 45 minutes ago so I done this and finally in the sky. Everything working for me now. Thx 1
Ralgh Posted December 31, 2023 Posted December 31, 2023 Every time I have had this happen with either the A300 or the A310 I have deleted the Rolling Cache and it loaded successfully on the next try. I have Rolling Cache disabled but this still seems to be necessary.
Sthackrey Posted January 1 Posted January 1 I am also experiencing this. The sim does a CTD after 10 minutes of use. Doesnt happen with any other aircraft. I am using the cargo version of the A300. Unfortunately, no detailed information. Hope they resolve this as I cant use the aircraft until its fixed. Ill try the passenger version and see if that fixes it. I can confirm that I have everything up to date. Justinu Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Successful after reinstalling and getting liveries from the website.
citadelskies Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Anything third party livery creators should do at this time to prevent this, such as naming our livery packages a specific way? I could be wrong, but from what I've read it seems that improperly structured liveries may be a cause. A few pilots and I had the same issue with our own liveries. I am more than willing to help out if it leads to a solution.

From what we know so far, this is not dependant on liveries and will happen seemingly at random. As I said before, we are looking into it though and it will hopefully be fixed for the next patch. 1
