Optimization

I gather the development team is working on reading complaints about optimization with KJFK. It is a spectacular scenery but when I land or take off anywhere near the terminal buildings my midrange machine goes into a moderate slideshow. 

I gather you are addressing this issue. I also have Feelthere KLGA installed along with Drzweki NYC Skyline.

We have some reports, but not too many as a lot of people are following the guidance issued if low perf. The scenery is already pretty efficient (more is being done for Patch 1) but to start off with have you followed our guide of what to do if low perf?

I completely agree. I learned myself that on my system the LOD and object detail sliders were high. I had both around 200. I decreased both to slightly below 100 like recommended by the IniBuilds team and gained additional performance and fps without loosing any real detail. To add I was also have issues running the KDAL scenery and it fixed that issue as well. I also followed this tweak on youtube by 2020 fs'ers which has helped also. Not sure if you use a Nvidia GPU but maybe it may help as well. Hope that helps. Have a great day!

OK. I run the Steam Version. Here is what is in my Local Cache folder. Is there somewhere else I should be looking?

The manual has been updated to now include the Steam path 🙂

Just bought this airport it’s an awesome addition and performance is pretty good on my rig 9700k and 1080ti
