Iconography Posted March 12, 2023 Posted March 12, 2023 I've noticed that whenever there is any measurable crosswind, the autopilot does not properly track a VOR radial. The aircraft will always be noticeably off track from the selected radial, depending on the wind direction. Is the any possibility that the autopilot can be adjusted to better compensate for the crosswind component?
Solution Deleted Account Posted March 12, 2023 Solution Posted March 12, 2023 Heya! Seeing that the that mode didn't even work in the aircraft IRL, I think we did pretty good 😉 IRL they used heading mode to follow VOR radials.
