Now that you have created textures, annunciation panels, EFB, 3D payload models, wings, engine models landing gear etc., I would think that creating an An-124 Ruslan would be less work than it would have been if it had to be made from scratch - as much of the assets, models and programming of systems would be identical.

A Ruslan model with the same fidelity as the Mriya would be something I'd be happy to purchase as a payware (also if the money went to iniBuilds and not funding a rebuild of the real Mriya). And I think we might be quite a few who would love a Ruslan model, as it is obviously more widely used, with more liveries and operating in and out of more airports in real life. I've even seen two Ruslans in real life myself at my local airport.

I know that there are probably no current plans for creating a Ruslan model, but please consider it, as I think it would be a good airplane requiring less development effort than others since the 124 and the 225 are so similar.

Yeah, you are correct, currently there are no plans for the Ruslan. But we will see what the future brings 🙂

Can't wait for An-124! An-225 ended up a really nice aircraft, given it shares majority of it's systems with 124 - it would be a pity not to have 124 in game.

Hii niBuilds, just read that your selling of the An-225 is closing the 1.000.000 milestone, maybe you could now consider doing most of the Antonov "Masterpieces" like the 124, 12, 22

I would like to add my interest in an An-124, flying the 225 has been lots of fun and I can imagine the 124 will be just as much, as well as being able to visit a wider array of airports than the 225 is able

Would be amazing to see the the 225's smaller counterpart recreated to the level of quality that we've seen in the 225. And with there being many more examples of the 124 flying with the few airlines that operate them, there'd definitely be plenty of cool things you could do with the plane. So yeah, sign me up on the interested list.

First of all, thank you very much for your Antonov AN 225 for the MSFS2020. You did a great job producing this aircraft with some special features. I also think the idea of donating the money raised to Antonov Airlines for a second AN225 is great. 

Would it be possible for you to produce an Antonov AN124 Ruslan for the MSFS? In fact, you wouldn't have to change that much, the AN225 has the same wings as the AN124. The cockpit is also identical. Unfortunately, Microsoft put my request on their wish list and did not contact me again. I think the idea was lost on Microsoft, even though I could have contributed to it quickly.

Since I live in Leipzig and have contact with Antonov employees, I could probably get information and photos of the aircraft after consultation. I have already been on the apron in Leipzig twice with an Antonov Airlines employee and looked at the AN124 from the inside. Most recently, Captain Dmytro Antonov was also there. You will find photos here.

I would be very happy to hear back.

It's nice to see the passion you all have! Since the AN-225 is a Microsoft product, we are not allowed to "use it" to recreate a similar aircraft in that sense. That is why suggesting this to Microsoft is the only option. If they decide "hey let's also make the 124" then we may do so. It is all up to MS/Asobo.

It's nice to see a lot of interest for the AN124. I made a forum/wishlist topic about it on the msfs forums so and I would love to see you all vote on it as well, maybe that would up the chances for asobo/microsoft to make the AN124 a reality in the sim.
