Prime engine - wrong direction

Can you do logic prime of engine? If user dosent touch it - the engine doesnt start? Depending on the OAT temperature?

1/ summer - 3 times

2/ winter - 5+

Now it doesn't matter at all whether you use it or not (from cold and dark situation).

Also now we have ON click and OFF click (why we need to click off if the knob always returns by itself), can you do ON only and back position will be auto + add the sound here pls.

Example 0:38:

Hi, pls see this video above:

Notice also that in model is wrong direction of working prime knob: pressed is the OFF position, pulled out ON (in model is reversed) - the injection works, i.e. just like in a medical syringe, it works the same. Prime is a fuel injection.

Pls to do also one click - so:

1/ its always pressed

2/ one click - animation of pulled out and back, thats all :).

Heya!

Im confused by your statements. Why would pressed be the OFF position? The active step of the priming (ie injecting fuel into the engine) happens when pressing the button, hence ON.

I´ll add prime logic and sound to the wishlist though.

Ok, to be clear, from the beginning (if it isn't used by the pilot) it should be fully pressed (so from cold and dark start or during the flight). Now it's fully pulled out from the beginning, i.e. as if the pilot took the fuel and forgot to press it down. 🙂

Hey, I entered the forum to write about exactly that.

It would also be helpful to know how many primer strokes are needed approximately and what the procedure on overpriming is (as I expect fuel off, mags off, throttle wide open and crank engine?).
