Hello, I would like to thank you again for providing to the community this beautiful airplane. I observed than the initial ROC is too much. Between 2000 and 2500ft/min or more at heavy weight which is way too much and even at light weight T/O and It doesn’t give the feeling that the aircraft is struggling to climb. Looking over-powered. In reality the A343 just after lift off has a ROC very very low. Around 1600 1700ft/min and sometimes even less ! As you can see here as an example of a real A343 Take Off: To defend my opinion, this only one of the many videos we can find on the internet (low climb, nearly hitting the tail, more recently descending just after lift off or pilots feedbacks). Even at low weight the A340 is used by major airlines in the summer for short haul flights, we can observed a terrible weak ROC. Even at low weight the A343 got a very weak Rate of Climb and not 3000ft/min or more on the addon and I hope this will be improve later. This Topic following my previous one that which I can’t find anymore where I suggested engines and spool-up behaviour (the initial spool-up is too fast and from 50% N1 to Flex THR, It’s too slow). It should be the opposite. My biggest matter is the Rate of Climb which needs to be review in the next update because it’s the identity of the a340 at any weight and I think it’s a shame if we don’t see that in the futur considering the beautiful addon It is already. Once again, Thank you so much for this addon that a lot of people were waiting for so many years and the quality of It. Looking forward for futurs updates ! Best regards.

If you tell me you were fully loaded it’s normal but who is doing flight with 100% fuel and 100% payload. There are plenty of video of the REAL airplane either at light and heavy weight. And if we make a comparaison with the real aircraft, the addon is overpowered. Not judging with a YouTube is your choice, But when it’s 1 2 3 10 15+ videos and pilots’s feedbacks I think that change everything in my opinion. Again it’s a 1.0 version so I’m waiting the futurs updates and I know the work isn’t finished. Regards.

Hello, I forward the topic I created because overall the airplane is great but for me the initial Rate of Climb is way to high compare to real life, we can see tons of videos of the 343 struggling to climb, nearly hitting the tail and barely Climb above 1000ft/min. I really hope the INI team will have a look on It as It is part of the identity of this airplane. Regards.

The video was released in early august so I don’t thing EAI were on. Even On It doesn’t affect the ROC by 1000ft/min. I think at the moment the Ini A340 is overpowered. Here is an other example of a real A340 taking off and we can see the airplane struggling to even be above 1000 ft/min after lift off: 5min45 On YouTube, we can see a ton of video of the Airbus A340 nearly hit the tail etc… So I hope the Ini team will work on It cause this is the identity of this airplane. Heyy, On the video, It’s a 313 variant and It has still this very weak ROC. I don’t think the variant will change something. The addon is over-powered at the moment but still a release version and the work is nice at moment but the experience may be wonderful with the low ROC which make the identity of the 340-300. Regards !
