  1. I clearly experience different and buggy sound levels - there is a general increase in volume (as there should be) and then it's like a bleedin' rave in the cockpit, like you've turned up your headphones to beyond maximum - so it booms and distorts horrendously, throbbing up and back down again a few times. It then returns back to normal once the engines either stabilise or they finish being turned off. I want to hear their beautiful sounds, trust me I do, but not in the manner that I have been currently experiencing! .. **No slider adjustment helps, for clarification.
  2. I haven't yet been able to get the BTV estimates to appear on the runway airport maps - must be user error, as I'm happy to now hear that they work!

Oh, interesting. It had been my intention to skip/cut out about 3-4 hours of flight time by 'jumping' from identical altitudes to a point 30 mins prior to TOD, it appears similar to your decision. I do recall that I did 'despawn' and then 'respawn' at 40,000ft in the circumstances I explained, but I cannot say that I checked whether the flight conditions would have been the same at both points - I did not consider whether the new flight positions may present the aircraft with difficulties if they were different to those anticipated by the FMS - which is something that could potentially confuse the simulation!?

Decided to test the 'Jump Ahead' function - mid flight and at cruise altitude, I selected the waypoint further ahead in the flight and hit go... I was teleported to where I should be (hurrah!) but in a +9000(or more) V/S climb and immediately hit with an accompanying 15s auto-save - needless to say, things went rather south quite rapidly after I 'regained control of the aircraft'.... Poor passengers..! XD
  5. That was my point - the experience I had was the volume was normal after starting and in flight, but extremely loud/bassy/pulsing when starting them up and turning them off. Definitely not something I can effect in the volume controls.
  6. The engine sounds from within the cockpit when starting them up, or shutting them down, are disproportionately loud and inconsistent (like a distorted booming bass rising and falling). The volume of them is otherwise ok, tested having made no adjustments during the initial din!
