This is a freebie so it's understandable if it doesn't have all the features of say the 350 🙂 which autosteps perfectly btw. I'm also one of those who really like the 330 P2F, so maybe Inibuilds could make an "advanced" or "premium" version of the plane that would have such features?? I'd certainly pay for a good upgrade!
As an afterthought, does anyone know if the real plane can even do that? I certainly don't know.

Errrr, how bout if you DON'T load an incorrect plan initially, then will things work? This description is confusing, makes it hard to know exactly what your failure is.

The premium version that I own is at 1.0.4, the marketplace version is later. So what's the deal, will we get this new version??

I was afraid of this 😞 Oh well, career mode is so broken in ways that have nothing to do with the chosen plane, ie ATC stupidity, airport selection, etc... that I probably couldn't stand it anyway...

With real airplanes you either fly with an instructor if, say, you are learning, as I did in a 172, or later on you need to get "type" rated which involves learning the plane, kinda like that thing simmers are so fond of, "study" aircraft, lol. In no case would you take to the skies not knowing where everything is 🙂

Before I buy this great looking aircraft I was hoping someone could tell me if it's actually available NOW in career mode missions? The PR is a bit vague and I realized it was possible that all they are saying is its "compatible" or "capable", I want to know if I buy it whether it will show up as usable? And, if not when?

The rain effect when wiping has been removed, but I believe ini have said they are working on implementing that. I don't have any issues with my AP Disconnect Sound. There's enough false/mistaken reporting in these forums, just report your problems to Inibuilds, we don't need some intermediary...

This happens with every airport i am approaching and try to do a ILS approach (EIDW, LPPT, LEBL and EDDM)
How do you do an approach? Are you flying a STAR, normally that would dump you into an IAF for an ILS approach right? That entry fix will have an altitude as well, and you should have your descent set up so you arrive at that fix with everything you need set, the only thing one needs to do is press the APR button, and activate the other FMS (at least I always do, I've seen some say that isn't necessary).
Do you see the localizer activate?
BTW, I've now done KLAX-KATL, a Delta flight, landing 27L, and this time on 2024. Still have some performance issues, but everything worked.
Looks to me that your problem isn't the plane, its procedural or data. I have always had a Navigraph subscription, I recommend it.

My first "kick the tires" flight, KLAS-KLAX, is complete! Been a couple days trying to figure things out, but finally got into the air, and I gotta say, I LOVE this plane. Used to fly the FF in Xplane, that was always an exercise in frustration. I like this flight because it's quick, but it lets you test all the essentials. From start to finish everything worked, landed ILS25L, used Autoland.
So, sure this doesn't mean there aren't problems, of course there are, but someone claimed this was a "catastrophy", and thats ridiculous, for a release this plane is glorious, and it will only get better. Thanks for this Inibuilds!

I just completed a flight KLAS-KLAX, landed ILS25L, and it captured flawlessly, so you need to provide more data, this is not enough to help anyone debug your problem.
What airport, what runway, any other pertinent detail.
Inibuilds is inundated with stuff right now, just saying things like "no workie here" doesn't help. Yes, there are issues, we need to be a supportive community, and actually help them in order to help us 🙂

The Inibuilds A320 does this same thing 🤨 althouth I had not noticed that before. I'd rather it not have this hidden connection however!

I ran into this as well, thought it was bizarre, but then I tried loading the A320 Neo, and imagine my shock when it did the same thing, LOL.
I suppose their thinking was turning on the beacon is IRL a sign tht the engines are starting, so they thought it should automatically remove power.
I still would rather not having it do so. But at this point it's easy enough to work around once you realize it, dont turn on the beacon til you have the APU running.

An update, I found the install had gone into the location C:\XboxGames\... Given MS obfuscating ways I have no idea the relationship between what's there and what ends up in our Appdata tree, but the sim did not find it there. I moved the content into the Community folder for 2020 and low-and-behold it worked.
With both sims on my system, and also a recent SSD failure that I am still recovering from I have no idea whether some of this is my fault or what. I only decided to do the 2020 install to compare issues there with 2024.... Sigh.
At least I am now up and running... well, sorta, more on that in a different post.

This did not work, I uninstalled both, then installed 2020 first, or alledgedly it did, but it still isn't there running the sim 😞
So, bottom line, the 2020 install isn't working period 😞 😞

I was going to buy the upgrade, but the store says its not available to me when I try to use the code, why would this be, I have the plane in 2020?? Am I missing something?

You sir, are a gentleman and a scholar 😊 It indeed was the FD, I had to calibrate the throttle again, that was odd, I had done it, but this time it actually latched onto climb thrust when it should have. Such a silly little thing, but one I've never worried about with Airbus and so just overlooked.

I tried the 320 Neo, it failed in the same way. Next I tried the Neo in 2020 and it works as it should. So this is broken in 2024.... what else is new 🤕

I hate it when people do this, if you solved it please share with others.
I have this problem, and I have recalibrated my logitech joystick a couple times. I have tried two different departures, and it's always the same thing, when prompted for climb thrust, i move the throttle to where its been calibrated and .... nothing.
Clearly its not the hardware, as we are different. I have not compared the 320 yet to see if the issue occurs there as well.

I have maintenance mode disabled according to the setting, yet after EVERY flight I keep having to go into the maintenance panel and "fix" my APU and other random things 😞
BTW, I'm really enjoying this plane, it's my favorite right now!! Thank you.

You're gonna kick yourself... I know I did at one point in the past too, but this issue is because you don't have the FD on 🙂 It doesn't come on by default, it has to be toggled.
I had a lot of pain over this personally, hope it solves your problem as well!!
