DRH Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 The Prop Control leaver will only stay put at Fine. If I move it down toward Coarse when I let go of the lever it pops back up to Fine. Love the plane!!! I am Using: iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2019 3.6 GHz Intel Core i9 64 GB 2667MHz DDR4 Radeon Pro Vega 48 8GB macOS 10.15.6 Xplane 11.50 (64 bit) X55 Saitek Pro Rhino Stick X55 Saitek Rhino Throttle
Delta_Who Posted September 19, 2020 Posted September 19, 2020 Hi DRH, Can you confirm if you're manipulating the prop by hand or using a throttle quadrant hardware?
glider_man Posted April 1, 2021 Posted April 1, 2021 I have the same problem. I'm just trying to move the lever using the mouse. It just springs back to 'Fine' when released.
olderndirt Posted April 15, 2021 Posted April 15, 2021 FYI I have 'thrustmaster' Airbus stick/throttle combo with prop programmed on two stick buttons for 'prop course/fine a bit. Works well.
Patrick Ronan Posted June 7, 2022 Posted June 7, 2022 Hello, it's the same for me. This is abnormal. In a "real" Bulldog, the propeller pitch is "full small pitch" (Fine) at takeoff. In cruise, the intake pressure must be adjusted, in economy cruise from 65% to 23 and the rpm 2300. In "fast" cruise at 75%, adjustment to 25 in intake pressure and 2500 in rpm. This gives a stabilized cruising speed of approximately 110 kts and 120 kts respectively. BUT in the Bulldog of Origami, the speed indicated is only 80 kts, whereas it should indicated 110 or 120 kts. This causes an aerobatic anomaly with fanciful speeds. The difference between the recommended speed of 145 kts in aerobatics and the indication of 80 kts is 65 kts!! While really this difference should be at most 35 kts !!! The problem is that to reach Origami's recommended speed (145kts), you have to dive almost vertically to reach it! So the speedometer is FALSE.
