rsmith6621a Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 How do we update the airrac NAVDATA for the 310? I am getting a NAV ACCURACY UPGRADE error in the scratchpad? Thanks
InfamousAviator Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 Hi RSmith, I'm just a nobody who loves simming but I believe you are getting a standard message that comes across the FMC once the IRS's have aligned. You can just clear it off the scratchpad. It is really just an fyi but requires no action by the crew. It's not a bad message to get to know when you are able to turn on the pitch trim system, which then makes available the MCP (autopilot management computer? not sure what it's called).
Yourakk Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 (edited) It is not related to NavData. The aircraft basically went from "NO NAV ACCURACY" (IRS does not know your position) to "NAV ACCURACY UPGRADE" (IRS knows where you are on the globe) Edited November 14, 2022 by Yourakk
Deleted Account Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 Yup, they are both correct. Just a message to inform you that the IRS are aligned. The A310 uses Microsoft default Navdata, so it´ll be updated automatically when Microsoft does it 🙂
