LOD optimisation

Featured Replies

Out of curiosity is there another planned update to help with LOD optimisation. All sceneries I have LAX, LHR, SAT have awful FPS stuffers. I have lowered my textures and graphics settings to medium which is VERY low for the type of computer I am running. Every other addon I have added (airports/ planes) have never effected the simulator to this extent 😞 I use AIG traffic but that only takes 5 FPS.

Hi,

We have made extensive steps throughout the development process to optimise frame rates where we can. As more tools become available to us or as we learn new techniques to squeeze every last frame out of our scenery products we can, we will aim to go back through and apply them where practicable to our other products.

If you wouldn't mind posting a screenshot of your graphics settings as well, so we can take a look. I do notice there that you have DX12 enabled. Until it is out of beta, we would recommend sticking with DX11.
