Realistic Door Arming – Expected Behavior and Activation Conditions

Featured Replies

I have tested the “Realistic Door Arming” option in the EFB, both with the setting turned ON and OFF, but I noticed the following behavior:

  1. After manually closing all doors, the doors do NOT arm automatically, even when the APU is running and both the Flight Plan (F-PLN) and fuel preparations are complete.

  2. The doors only switch to the ARMED position automatically once all four engines are running.

  3. This behavior (1 and 2) occurs regardless of whether “Realistic Door Arming” is enabled or disabled.

Am I missing any steps or specific conditions required to demonstrate this feature correctly?

Could any friends please clarify how this function is supposed to work and what the expected differences are between the ON and OFF settings?

Tested from v1.0.5 to v1.0.7; they are all the same.

When you compared ON and OFF, did you load a fresh flight after changing the setting, or switch it mid-session? Worth ruling out the option only applying from the next load before treating the two as identical.

Thanks for your report, I will test this on my end for clarification.

Appreciate your patience 🙂
