wasm crash a380

IniKyle! Since I am blocked in Inimanager, I decided to purchase aircraft and use them directly in my Steam version of the game (via the MS Store); however, I only just bought an aircraft recently. An error occurs the moment I appear at the airport. I’m not sure if I have diagnostics enabled or not. I really want to fly.

I’ve clicked through everything I selected during installation multiple times, and I can confirm that the MS Store livery pack results in a "WASM" [error/issue].

Some time passed, and I encountered WASM again; however, since I had already confirmed the submission of the logs, I will wait for a resolution.

At the moment, all my attempts to reinstall and clear caches did not help me cope with WASM, I am waiting for help and a solution to the problem.

Same for me..Had to completely uninstall it and stream the aircraft. Then it works.

Hi, if you're able, please try the following troubleshooting steps:

  • Make sure the simulator is completely closed.

  • Locate your Community Folder.

  • Rename your Community Folder to Community1.

  • Relaunch the simulator. This should create a new Community folder.

  • Once you reach the main menu, close the simulator.

  • Move the A380 from Community1 into the newly created Community folder.

  • Launch the simulator again.

Let me know if that helps, thanks!

iniKyle. I don’t see what you’re referring to here "SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\MSFS2024\Community" as it seems the aircraft are located in the MS Store — "SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\MSFS2024\Official2024\Steam" Here is the complete list of what I have here. Everything was purchased and is being used legally; these items were bought via the MS Store from within the game.

I have tried launching the game in "safe" mode and without any of my installed content, as you suggested. This did not help. To get the aircraft to load, I have to restart the game multiple times—specifically in relation to the WASM component. Deleting the WASM folder does not help, nor does reinstalling the aircraft.

"%APPDATA%\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024\WASM\MSFS2024\"

I should also mention that I’ve run into a major issue with INIManager, where I was denied access to certain arguments/features. Because of this, I am forced to purchase and use content exclusively through the in-game store. I even have an official letter from Microsoft clarifying that items purchased from them are never "blocked"—at most, they might be completely revoked—and in the event of a dispute or a serious violation, I would simply be able to purchase them again.

I'm waiting for more advice on how to fix wasm.
