A340-300

Featured Replies

Hi, I'd like to know if the A340 will be improved in the future or if there might even be an A340 V2 down the line, because I feel like this aircraft is being overlooked a bit in my opinion, this has to do with updates and as an A340 fan, I'd be happy to see this aircraft stay up to date.

Hi,

I'm not entirely sure, but I would like to assume the A340 will receive future updates.

Thanks!

"not entirly sure"?

I really like your products. However, I had hoped the A340 would receive the same level of update attention as the A350
which seems to get a new update every few days. The last update for the A340 was back in May.
The A340 has a lot of potential. Unfortunately, as can be read on the forum, many autopilot
functions are in real need of improvement. The issue regarding "trip wind" also needs
to be addressed, as it makes a significant difference to fuel calculations on long-haul flights.
Personally, I’m also not a big fan of the sound—specifically the external engine sounds and the audio
during the engine start-up sequence.I would be very happy if you could look into these matters soon.
Thanks!
