September 16Sep 16 I've done a couple of flights now and one thing I've noticed is that derated climb thrust is a good 30% higher than flex. Going from 67% to about 97%. This is both using DCLB3 in the EA variant and auto-derate with the RR in a relatively light aircraft.
September 16Sep 16 Staff Hi,From my understanding, this logic is correct. Nevertheless, I've forwarded this to the appropriate team for further clarification and confirmation. Thanks for your patience and understanding! Kyle - Community Manager iniBuilds Ltd. | inibuilds.com
September 16Sep 16 Author Just to add here, I’ve seen a couple of cockpit videos now where I’ve gotten a decent look at the ECAM and it looks like an increase of a couple of percent is normal. Usually around 78% to around 80% not a jump of 30%.
