1.1.0 Jetways not animated

Featured Replies

GSX Is recognising that stands have jetways, but when they're in operation (as selected through GSX) none of them are animated and remain stationary.
GSX acknowledges they've moved and are in place, but the physical model hasn't moved.

Not sure how many affected, the last stand I just tested was 221L, with no jetway movement.

Scenery is at latest version, with V1.5 of the GSX profile installed.

Multi-jetway tool isn't installed currently as I have no use for it.

Hi Liam,

Thanks for your feedback. I'll test this in the morning and report back with my findings.

Thanks again!

I can confirm: I connect the two jetways to the A350 via the EFB, but when I start boarding with GSX, it doesn't see them as connected—it reports "bad jetway data."

Hi,

Yes, if you're using our multi-jetway tool with GSX, there is currently a limitation that prevents passengers from appearing. We've reached out to the GSX team in hopes of getting this resolved, but unfortunately, we have yet to hear back.

Thanks for your patience and understanding!

I have the same issue

At the moment, GSX sends a passenger bus and stairs, and in this case passengers running around the apron, I get the feeling it's too soon for multi jetway and gsx, heavy gates will need stairs for the time being

Hi,

I also have this issue, no jetways move at any gate on any aircraft. I have restarted Couatl and ensured there is no conflicting scenery but still no improvement unfortunately.

Many thanks.

I've just updated the EGLL scenery which included the multi jetway system.

It doesn't work at all with GSX now. If I dock the multi jetways, when trying to board passengers through GSX, it tries to add stairs at left two (where one of the jetways is).

I then tried to dock one of the jetways using GSX, but with the multi-jetways installed, GSX doesn't do anything.

So we've got to choose one or the other; they do not work together despite claims they do.

I only hope that they collaborate with gsx/pmdg prior to messing with other airports such as jfk, the strange thing is, at the medium/small gates, everything still works as before

For now I think I'll reert to Asobos Heathrow, I'd rather have a functioning airport than a broken eye candy one, if the issues get fixed I'll reinstall

Hi,

Please follow the attached thread to get the jetways behaving as intended.

Thanks!

Hi,

We’ve reached out to GSX for further clarification, as we developed this tool to work with GSX based on all the parameters and information provided by them.

Thanks for your patience and understanding!

Thanks for to the team at iniBuilds for leading me to the instructional link. I was previously trying to use the aircraft’s own EFB and GSX to dock the jet bridges and that didn’t work.

now that I am using it properly I am having the same issue as some of the folks above. GSX states firstly that the jet bridge is too far and I won’t see passengers boarding, then it just unilaterally sends stairs.

Hi,

Yes, this is a current limitation within GSX. We have reached out to the developer for further clarification.

Thanks for your patience and understanding!
