I would like the map server to automatically load when the sim starts. In the instruction It says that it should modify the exe.xml, But it hasn't done that.

Hi Rob,

When you launch the sim, do you get a windows console window that pops up?

I haven’t personally experienced any issues with this, although there are times when I need to close and relaunch the map-server software.

Hi Kyle, I do not get a console window when I load the sim. When I first install it should I use the a220-launcher.exe or map-server.exe?

Are you using the install from the iniManager, or did you download the map files directly from the Synaptic website?

We have received reports of the map server not initializing properly when installed through iniManager, and we are currently investigating the issue on our side.

In the meantime, I would suggest downloading the map server files directly from the Synaptic website, as we know this method works.

Note: After downloading the files, the map server should launch automatically. However, we have occasionally seen cases where the auto-launch is unsuccessful. If this happens, simply launch the map-server file from the downloaded folder manually, and that should resolve the issue.
