While the aircraft has a lot of potential and many aspects got better after updates, there are still several areas that significantly impact realism and immersion. Sounds Power-up sounds are still inconsistent. When only the batteries are switched on, there is just a strange ventilation/humming noise instead of the proper ventilation fans Cockpit shutdown sounds are still too abrupt. The relay clicking sounds abrupt and not how it should be (https://youtu.be/CMeAvK4lyO0?si=JhcyZfzZz_A7_u7J&t=52) Opening or closing any aircraft door triggers cockpit sounds Regardless of which door is operated, audio always plays in the cockpit. The door opening is just a strange clicking noise which doesn't even fit a door opening sound. The same happens when closing the doors. but at least with a fitting sound. Slat movement sounds are inconsistent in volume. They begin quietly and then suddenly become much louder during the same movement. The sound level should remain more consistent throughout the extension/retraction. Engine start sounds do not match the engine parameters. The audio timing does not correspond to the N3 acceleration, fuel injection, or ignition sequence. This appears to be a consequence of the current engine model rather than just the sound recordings themselves. "Autobrake Off" This is a never ending story I guess. What's so hard to deactivate the chime and just play the callout??? Systems The OANS map takes long to load. During loading it causes noticeable stuttering, the image quality is poor, and overall performance suffers. The implementation by FlyByWire demonstrates that this can be done much more efficiently. The simulator experiences significant lag whenever VNAV and fuel predictions are recalculated after modifying the flight plan. Route changes should not have such a noticeable impact on overall simulator performance. Engine / APU Simulation The APU EGT behaviour during cooldown is unrealistic. The temperature drops below 150°C, which does not reflect the behaviour of the real aircraft. (https://youtu.be/oYj4zAG8YVQ?si=wwFP6IW5cJU2y7Im) N3 accelerates far too quickly during engine start. It rises to around 20% almost immediately instead of increasing more progressively. The overall engine start sequence is too fast. The startup lacks the gradual progression seen on the real Trent XWB. As said, the visual engine indications and the audio do not match each other, making the startup sequence feel wrong. Overall, I believe the aircraft has a strong foundation, but these issues noticeably reduce immersion, especially for users who are familiar with Airbus procedures and engine behaviour. I hope these areas can receive further attention in future updates.
