LukeFF Posted Friday at 05:18 PM Posted Friday at 05:18 PM It has problems in 2024, like snow showing inside the terminals, for one thing. It would also be ideal to have a version of this scenery without static aircraft taking up otherwise useful parking spots. With all the traffic addons now out there it makes no sense to have static planes everywhere and no way to get rid of them.
ManInTheSky Posted Friday at 09:28 PM Posted Friday at 09:28 PM Hi Luke Thanks for pointing this out, things are a bit slow at the moment but an update is in progress to resolve every known issue including the removal of static aircrafts. It would be great if you can list all the problems you encountered while using the scenery in 2024 so it can be added to the to-do list. I have attached previews that shows most of the static aircrafts gone. 1
LukeFF Posted Saturday at 05:07 PM Author Posted Saturday at 05:07 PM (edited) That's great to hear! The scenery is overall very, very good. The only things I can criticize it on right now are the static aircraft (especially ones that occupy gates at the main terminal; it would be nice if traffic injectors like BATC could place aircraft there instead) and the aforementioned snow inside the terminal. I noticed the PAPI lights on runway 25 are all red when on a stabilized RNAV P approach, but I don't know if that is intentional. Edited Saturday at 05:07 PM by LukeFF
LukeFF Posted Saturday at 05:20 PM Author Posted Saturday at 05:20 PM Oh, one other thing: I've been seeing these weird terrain anomalies recently, too.
LukeFF Posted Sunday at 05:58 AM Author Posted Sunday at 05:58 AM One more: near the hold short line for 25, there is a bit of uneven terrain:
ManInTheSky Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Thanks for the feedback. The issues have been noted and will be looked into. Regarding the terrain spikes, this is a problem with the sim itself. Turning off displacement mapping in the graphics settings should resolve it. You can check about it in the sim official forum https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/effect-of-displacement-mapping/719695/2
