Mountainbuilder Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago As a real world pilot I'm having a real issue with this: for takeoff and landing, window shades must be up, the cabin crew has to enforce this. So in real life, I never see an A350 with many window shades pulled down in a strange semi-random way. This just looks very unrealistic and wrong, and means that the cabin crew is not doing their job. ICAO cabin training manuals are strict about this (Doc 7192 Part E-1 and Doc 10002 ), and there is a strong IATA recommendation. Outside the U.S. practically all airlines follow this guideline strictly (e.g. British Airways, Lufthansa or JAL). Recommendation: you could add an Option "PAX Cabin Window Shades", like the Leonardo Maddog MD-80 has it. That would make everybody happy.
