How To - Swap GPS Units

The Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) on the Microsoft / IniBuilds F27 can be used to swap between WT GNS430 (Default), PMS GTN 650 (Payware) or TDS GTN 650 (Payware) GPS units on the glareshield.

Note: The use of PMS or TDS GTN650 requires them to be installed separately into your simulator. Please refer to their respective product guides for more information.

 

Swapping GPS Units

1. Press the Options button on the EFB sidebar.
2. Select your desired GPS via the buttons under GNSS SELECTION section at the top of the screen.

Note: While hot-swapping between units is possible, for best results it is recommended to exit to the main menu once after selecting your desired GPS units to reset all the relevant Autopilot Variables.
