VHHH T1 South Gates Incorrect Size Assignment (Heavy + Small instead of Heavy + Medium)

First of all, I’d like to thank the iniBuilds team for this excellent VHHH scenery.

The terminal modeling, ground detail, and overall airport atmosphere are among the best currently available in MSFS. The layout and visual accuracy of the airport are especially impressive, especially the southern apron area which looks very well done visually.

I noticed a configuration issue with the southern apron gates (S stands, e.g. S35 and surrounding gates).

Currently, these gates are set up as:

-Heavy + Small

However, the northern gates are configured as:

-Heavy + Medium

Because of this difference in gate size assignment, AI traffic systems such as FSLTL tend to allocate most widebody aircraft (A330 / A350 / B777) to the northern gates only.

As a result:

  • Northern apron becomes heavily populated with widebody aircraft

  • Southern apron is mostly occupied by narrowbody aircraft (A320 / B737)

This creates an unrealistic traffic distribution compared to real-world operations at VHHH.

In reality, the southern gates at Hong Kong International Airport frequently handle widebody aircraft, especially Cathay Pacific operations.

These gates should therefore be configured as:

  • Heavy + Medium

This would allow proper widebody allocation and better reflect real-world usage.

Actual behavior:

  • Southern gates: Heavy + Small

  • Northern gates: Heavy + Medium

→ AI traffic becomes heavily biased toward the northern apron. Issue occurs consistently when using FSLTL.

Please consider reviewing the gate size assignments for the southern stands and aligning them with real-world operations.

Screenshot attached for reference.

Thank you again for the excellent work on this scenery. (The widebody aircraft parked at S29 in the screenshot is my own A350 (manually parked), which further highlights that these stands are capable of handling widebody aircraft in practice.)
