navnak Posted December 5, 2025 Posted December 5, 2025 Hi there, Just wanted you to know that the center landing gear of this beautiful bird is floating some cm's of the ground in the latest release. Check it out in the screenshot. I really appreciate it if you take care of it. Thanks. 2
Matthias0412 Posted December 20, 2025 Posted December 20, 2025 It’s been floating since release when having zero payload and little fuel on board 1
IniJamir Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Hi, Sorry for the delayed response, I will raise this with the team as it is still happening in current versions. Thank you.
Solution IniSteve Posted Monday at 06:42 PM Solution Posted Monday at 06:42 PM Hi, this is correct behaviour and has been verified from A340 pilots. At very low gross weights, the center gear will not make contact with the ground. Once you add fuel and payload it will settle onto the gear as expected. 1
Matthias0412 Posted Monday at 09:01 PM Posted Monday at 09:01 PM to this extent in v1.0.9? find it hard to believe but I am open to stand corrected
spider24 Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago (edited) I think it floats too high. Floating yes - but this are not some centimeters. I think, its too high. And if that's the case, then this gear always floats above ground after landing and before being loaded – and that's not real 😉 Loaded the plane with 200t (zfw 175, fob 25t) ... it also floats (and thats weight is not too light ;- ) You can also look some yotubevideos of A340-300 inside hangars (the center gear is on ground) -> I don'T think, that there is an big loaded aircraft 😉 Link: Edited 10 hours ago by spider24
spider24 Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago ... and ...the center gear rotates when floating. Please fix the center gear ! 1
Matthias0412 Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I think so, too. It definately was lower before v 1.0.9 It even floats with full payload and little fuel now...
