paulelee46 Posted November 24, 2025 Posted November 24, 2025 (edited) Morning All I have recently moved over to VR and its fantastic Unfortunatley the A350 cannot be used as you cannot interact with the CDU despite being able to use everything else. I have seen a couple of older posts about this but nothing for quite a while and no soloution , there was a reply from someone at Inibuilds who suggested cleaning the WASM which I have done many times and still no joy ;-( Does anyone know the current situation of this error and if IniBuilds are in the process of sorting it? devil2311 Posted December 3, 2025 Posted December 3, 2025 (edited) This issue very much still exists (last checked with 1.1.17 and SU4). The CDU cannot be interacted with using VR controllers while the OIS can. This issue has been around for a while. The A350 CDU is unusable in VR without using a mouse. devil2311 Posted December 3, 2025 Posted December 3, 2025 (edited) I think it is necessary to stress that CDU itself works, you just cannot interact with it using a VR controller. It doenst register any clicks. You can see the cursor move, but no clicks are registered unless using a mouse. Edited December 3, 2025 by devil2311

devil2311 Posted December 4, 2025 Posted December 4, 2025 (edited) Yes I know that it works with the mouse, that is how I am using this since months. But I do wish it worked with VR controllers. Specially since the FBW A380 CDU seems to work perfectly with VR controllers - so it is not a sim limitation. Edited December 4, 2025 by devil2311

We have explained on both this forum as well as our discord the challenge using hand controllers when it comes to multiple cursor overlays due to the way the SDK i sbuilt in the sim. Despite that you should be able to use a mouse without problems for interaction with the screens. (I use VR extensively with all our aircraft daily and don't run into this issue) As the sim and its SDK mature, we hope to revisit this and see if it can be refined. Once that happens, we'll provide an update.
