Engine indications on power up

Featured Replies

Hi folks,

The engine indications and thrust setting (DCLB) are showing upon electrical power up or when engines aren't running, even when FADEC GND PWR not selected. Also, the EGT gauges show 0 even when the ambient temperature is much higher. Also, the aircraft always starts with the oil absolutely filled to the brim, which I don't think is realistic.

You'd be wrong. Oil gets refilled AT LEAST before each start at home base sometimes even before the return leg.

That aside are you sure that this is not simply happening after an update? Because each update resets the WASM folder and the files are build new. When that happens the oil gets reset to full.

This is actually correct behaviour on power up as far as I’m aware. There are several real power up videos on YouTube. This one starts around 3:00 for power up and note the initial engine display at around 3:20
