I try to reach a direct point that isn't on the fly plan e.g GIPOL. I press on the key on nothing happen on screen.

I think he tried to add by this a new wpt into FPLN. That should be possible. It will create a disco after the new wpt followed by the rest of the original FPLN.

I sent him the f-pln. I tried to return back to LSZH after beginning a flight to KSFO, but I can't add a new waypoint and even an airport as a new dest.

JCOBY4 departure has first a heading section then waypoint of RIGNZ.

Once putting DIR RIGNZ that can't be INSERTED from the same FMC, then all next DIR is starting just to delete the waypoints on the ND.

I am not at PC now, maybe can provide more details later or let me know if any specific required.
