Hélène CIZERO Posted November 8 Posted November 8 (edited) Hello. Screenshot taken while flying in the Polar area. I may be wrong, but I don't think it's normal to get a GRID Heading of 165° when flying straight to the north. I think that the GRID is aligned vertically with a reference meridian, often the Greenwitch one. So this heading looks wrong to me. Am I misunderstanding something or is it a bug ? Bujasim Posted November 8 Posted November 8 It is correct, actually it is within 5 degrees compared with real flight on this route. 1

Crosswind Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Are polar routes ever gonna be fixed on msfs2024? Weird stuff happens on the simulator when you are crossing the North Pole, with the entire scenery circling around the plane.
Hélène CIZERO Posted November 9 Author Posted November 9 (edited) Are you overflying NOPOL ? If yes, may I sugest you to fly 30NM away from the North Pole (89°30'N) and it will be fine. Flew this route two days ago and everything went fine. Even real operators avoid to overfly NOPOL Edited November 9 by Hélène CIZERO

I wonder on which meridian the GRID is aligned to show 170° Heading while flying straight north. Maybe it is due to the map projection type ? Edited November 9 by Hélène CIZERO
