FD disconnecting randomly since update to 1.02

Featured Replies

Since the last update, I did 3 long haul flights and during 2 of these flights the FD randomly switch off without any action from me.

This was not happening with the 2 last versions

It looks like the default Airbuses

Hi @Dolly64

Note that if you enter an overspeed condition, the FD will go off (by design). This can happen if any abrupt weather changes happen during your flight which cause drastic change in atmospheric conditions.

In previous versions, when the overspeed condition was resolved, the FD were turning back on automatically, however per SME Feedback this was incorrect. This was one of the fixes in v1.0.2, so would explain why you are only *noticing* this in latest version, even though this issue may be occurring previously as well.

Thank you for the full explanation... nevertheless, for people like me who are doing long haul flights with necessary monitoring their flights, this is annoying because when it happens, without human intervention, the plane goes crazy and at the end it crashes...could this be implemented as an option or implementing a pause option when the FD switches off?
