dennisko762 Posted October 18 Posted October 18 I have the bravo throttle with 2 axis (1&2 to physical 1 and 3&4 to physical 2) which are recognized in the sim as well and they work perfectly fine with the 380. My problems already started with the initial calibration. I did the above mentioned in the in-sim controls, chose 2 axis and reverser on axis "no" and tried to calibrate and it wouldnt recognize axis 3 & 4 in the efb. Yet the actual levers that move in the aircraft are 1 & 4. 2 &3 remained idle. Trying to change multiple times between axis counts or resetting calibration didnt work (thought it might have stuck their) so i decided to simply disconnect my actual hardware and look: it worked. But then during taxiing, same thing. Im ready for pushback, all 4 levers work as desired. Started the engines, ready for taxi... again. on the efb 3 & 4 are gone yet its actually lever 1 & 4 moving and ont he eicas i can see 1 & 4 spooling up. Is there something im missing? I know youre getting lots of feedback right now and have to deal with lots but thats an issue that definitely shouldnt happen especially while on vatsim. Thank you in advance and if you need more info, let me know
dennisko762 Posted October 18 Author Posted October 18 Oh something I just noticed. So after reconnecting my hardware all 4 axis were working again. Now i wanted to try to use reversers on axis. It immediately killed ENG3 and ENG4 axis again showing NaN.
dennisko762 Posted October 30 Author Posted October 30 So after struggling for a long time im kinda done with the axis. I dont know why but whatever i configure simply wont stay in place. This time im trying to somehow get reverse to work with my honeycomb bravo and flightsimfactory a320 levers however without success. Reverse is not working at all the standard way. That might be because of the a320 adapters but so be it. However, i dont see any reason why when mapping the F2 key to toggle reverse (which toggles the reverse successfully), my axis get deleted every time. Besides, sometimes, without my doing, 2 of the axis keep being lost (usually the inner 2). After disconnecting and reconnecting the honeycomb bravo, it suddenly works. But I cant be disconnecting and connecting the hardware for ever, i mean this is clearly a software issue. Now again, as im writing this, the axis got lost again, showing NaN....... s
Staff richboy2307 Posted Monday at 12:23 PM Staff Posted Monday at 12:23 PM Hi @dennisko762 Are you still experiencing this issue? I am using Honeycomb Bravo TQ myself, with physical axis 3 set to ENG 1&2, and physical axis 4 set to ENG 3&4, using the airbus detents (though has not effect software wise). I am not able to reproduce your reported issue so was just curious if you could provide any additional information that could help with reproduction?
