Alvariteus Posted yesterday at 10:17 AM Posted yesterday at 10:17 AM Hello @iniBuilds Team. I am extremely disappointed with what just happened as I was nearing my destination after a 9-hour flight. While updating the STAR to change the arrival runway at my destination airport, everything was set and ready, until I clicked to insert the changes into the flight plan. At that moment, all the data on the screen disappeared (as if it had been wiped), and all the aircraft displays (except the EFB) became frozen and completely unusable. The result? Nine hours of flight wasted, with no way to recover or continue due to this issue. I find this completely unacceptable for a product that has been on the market for such a long time. I honestly cannot understand how problems like this are still happening at this stage, and I am requesting a proper solution or explanation, as this is far from normal. Thank you.
frank_m Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Most likely this was a WASM Crash. Then not only the plane, but also the environment, the simulator and other Addons have influence. What addons have been active additionally? Please consider also external addons coming via SimConnect.
Eddie Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Hello, We understand experiencing the WASM crashes is not fun whatsoever and we truly wish you didn't have to. We built the autosave system to quite literally save your flight. Please use it; it only takes you a few minutes to get back into the air rather than scrapping the flight entirely. A guide on how to use them here: https://forum.inibuilds.com/topic/28157-how-to-create-load-share-save-files-via-ois/ Why did we create this system? Because WASM crashes are very difficult to track down. They are random, very specific and sometimes not reproducible at all. That is why the issue is "still here". Major WASM crashes have been fixed; what remains are said edge-cases that are very situation-specific. We have a guide on how to properly report WASM crashes so we can track them down.
