Pausing Bug

Featured Replies

Hi,

found a bug in the a340, when pausing sim for a prolonged time (i'd say it is between 30min and 1h) the system just say sim paused even if the sim is unpaused and i wasn't able to get it back running without restarting the flight.

Thanks for this beatiful aircraft!

Same issue here, unfortunately. I tried a 9.5 hour flight VOBL-EDDF and woke up to the sim paused over Iran. Unpaused and completely unresponsive. I let it fly and it flew its way into Sub-Saharan Africa well beyond fuel limitations, so I assume this is a crash of some sort. I did look for a WASM crash and no error messages showed up in Dev mode.

What works: changing views, sounds, overhead panel switches

What doesn't work: displays, FMGS, MCP, throttles, flaps/spoilers

Yeah I got this too on TOD Pause. Sat for maybe 30 mins, now its stuck. The aircraft moves but the tablet still asks to resume flight and all other controls are locked. Im on SU3

I would give Su4 a try and see if you continue having issues. If so, please let us know 🙂

Hello, following your recommendation, I installed the Msfs2024 Su4 beta today and flew the route I was stuck on yesterday with an A340 without any problems. Pause/Unpause worked without any issues, and I was very happy. I hope this isn't a coincidence. If I experience any problems again, I'll let you know here.
