Hello Inibuilds Team,

Having recently purchased your A340, I must say it is a pleasant surprise being relatively well priced, preforming rather smoothly (hopefully something that can be brought back to the A300/A350), and having a nice level of overall systems and flight model depth for the price point!

That said I would like to ask about the possibility of enabling the 3rd FMS/CDU unit on the pedestal as, unless I've missed something, it is currently deactivated and non-usable. There are a few reasons behind this request, primarily it would be greatly beneficial to use that CDU as the ACARS/ATC COMM unit allowing users to use the two primary CDUs only for common FMS pages, and secondly it would look less out of place if it were usable and not as this random dark/shut off and unusable unit on the pedestal as it currently stands.

This is a small feature that I believe would make a big positive change to the A340 and would be greatly appreciated (along with an A340-200 🙂). 

Any plans to activate the 3rd FMS/CDU in an update?

Our infrastructure does not support bringing the 3rd MCDU at this time. However, we'll revisit this in the future and if the possibility allows, we'll explore it.

I don't understand why a 3rd MCDU is so requested. We are single pilot anyway and we already can compare datas by watching MCDU 1 and 2 at the same time. 

Because it is there to be used, not to be a blank useless box. By your logic why do we need an FMS in the first place, the default GPS system and default autopilot cover everything you need right?...

I've already explained why the 3rd MCDU would be great to have (beyond that fact that it is literally part of the avionics and equipment suite of the aircraft being sold...) so perhaps try reading that again. I find it is quite telling if any developer of "high quality/fidelity" addons agrees with or thinks that way, at that point what other shortcuts would that type of developer be willing to take!

The MCDU has already PLENTY bugs so before a 3rd one please fix the existing ones...

To see a third MCDU would be nice. Keep in mind, a 3rd MCDU doesn't require a 3rd FMS. There are only two FMS in an Airbus.

Hi Eddie, if not fully funtional....so maybe just a non functional MENU page? 

Will forward your suggestion. I believe we are already looking into alternatives but it is not a guarantee nor a promise, please temper your expectations.
