I just tried to calibrate the axes. This is set correctly in the EFB and the bars also display it correctly there (Axis 1 moves throttle 1 and 2, axis 2 moves throttle 3 and 4).

Unfortunately, these settings are not applied to the aircraft. There, axis 1 only moves the throttle for engine 1 and axis 2 only moves throttle 2. Throttles 3 and 4 do not move.

I have already removed the ‘ThrottleData.ini’ file, but this did not help.

So you have to set your throttles 3 and 4 up I have 1 and 2 on the same axis and 3 and 4 on the other. Not how the described it at all.

NVM it does say to do that in the FAQ for the TCA throttle. However it says to use 0-100 and that doesn't work well for me. I just use the normal throttle axis.

Struggling with throttle setup for the A340, using Virpil MongoosT-50CM3. My standard method works flawlessly for twin-engine addons, but this quad is a disaster. Any fixes or workarounds?

Quick Setup

• Hardware: Virpil MongoosT-50CM3 (dual throttles)
• Software: FSUIPC (latest), MSFS 2024 updated
• Created A340-specific FSUIPC profile: Left axis → Throttle 1 ("Send to FSUIPC for calibration"), Right → Throttle 2.
• MSFS Controls: Throttle 1 & 2 enabled, no conflicts.

Expected: Left controls Engines 1-2, Right for 3-4.

What I Tried

• 2-Axis Mode (A340 tablet): Calibrated both axes in tablet - 1,2,3 and 4 appear to move fine there, but sim animations of the throttles are erratic (jumps, desyncs, detents off; Engines 3-4 laggy).
• 1-Axis & 4-Axis Modes (A340 tablet): Total mess—throttles fight, plane unflyable.
• Reconfigured the A340-specific FSUIPC profile: Left axis → Throttle 1 and 2 ("Send to FSUIPC for calibration"), Right → Throttle 3 and 4: Same as above...

Is this a known A340/FSUIPC bug? Successful dual-throttle setups (exact FSUIPC assignments)? Tips for EFB sync?

I have same issue. Throttle 3 and 4 are not working I have logitech Rhino X56 pro

Here’s my resolution:

FSUIPC set: Created plane specific profile (A340) Axis 1 -> FSUIPC calibrated: Throttles 1&2; Axis 2 -> FSUIPC calibrated: Throttles 3&4

MSFS2024 set: Plane specific profile (A340 only) Axis 1 -> Throttles 1&2; Axis 2 -> Throttles 3&4

Plane Tablet set: 2 Axis

In plane movement for some of the throttles appeared as inverted (Throttles 2, 3 and 4). Reconfigure axis for these throttles as inverted in MSFS2024 to correct position in game vs physical position. 
 

Now that all axis and throttles were moving correctly I did final calibration in the Plane Tablet and I’m all set. 
 

I assume if iNi does some updates down the line I’ll need to do slight tweaks but for the moment I’m golden. 

@iniBuilds Is there any news on this issue? Unfortunately, the problem has not been fixed with the new update.

I have the exact same problem. Very frustrating!

 

In the EFB, all the throttles are doing the correct thing. I have the Thrustmaster Airbus. I set Reverser on axis and 2-axis.

When I move Throttle 1 on my hardware, I see throttle 1+2 move in the EFB, but in the cockpit only throttle 1 moves. When I set full reverse thrust, I see it in the EFB, but on the Throttles in the cockit only the reverse levers are pulled but not reverse thrust applied (stuck in the idle position).

 

I deleted the ini file and stated again. When looking at the ini file, it doesn't mention at all that I use the 2-axis configuration.

 

£50 spent for nothing. Can't even do a basic flight...

On top of calibrating in EFB you have to set the axis in MSFS 2024

I have the thrustmater Airbus as well, it took me some times but now working perfectly

LAXIS X for Throttle 1 Axis (0 to 100%)

LAXIS X for Throttle 2 Axis (0 to 100%)

LAXIS Y for Throttle 3 Axis (0 to 100%)

LAXIS Y for Throttle 4 Axis (0 to 100%)

And check Reversers on Axis YES in EFB Throttle options 

X for 1/2 and Y for 3/4 is only a workaround. With axis-settings in the EFB it should work with 1/2 only (ass you can see in the EFB it self). Because like this you have to change the settings every time when you fly a twin-engine.

I set up X for 1/2 and Y for 3/4 only for inibuilds A340-300 so no  impact on all other twin-engine. 

I don't have to select A340 profile it is done automatically. Give it a try 😉
