Fornax Posted August 24 Posted August 24 (edited) A350 been terrible performance wise in whole su3 + su3beta period. SU2 80-90fps (all fps with 2xFG) parked at (most) airports (no injected traffic etc). SU3 gives me 50fps. Thats 25fps with no FG! Fenix, Pmdg's, iFly around 100fps. Cleared wasm, nvidia cache etc etc. Time to do some performance optimization ini. Shelved it for now. Feel free to merge this post with apropriate thread, but strangely didn't find any. 5090, 7900x3d, 64gb ram, 4k(5120x1440), 2xFG, TAA, Ultra-High settings. Edited August 24 by Fornax
oussama787 Posted August 24 Posted August 24 Hello Dear Fornax i confirm bad performance with A350 after SU3 update , Fps Droop from 80 to 50 @iniBuilds any Help I don’t have any problems with other addons like PMDG and Fenix. Cdt
Xenon341 Posted August 24 Posted August 24 You have beefer PC than me and I have 70-90FPS with 2xFG on 4k Ultra so that may not be as easy as "optimize it"
Xenon341 Posted August 24 Posted August 24 I have decent perf yes but if I check the official forums a lot of people have perf issue in SU3, not necessary with A350. Mainthread seems to be a big one https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/mainthread-loads-up-more-and-more-and-doesnt-recover/729018/184 To be clear I would not say no to more FPS 😄 but even OP said that in SU2 it was OK and in SU3 it's not anymore but the plane did not change so for me, the platform brought some stuff that maybe don't work well. If ini can fix some stuff that great but IMHO, something from the platform may have caused this.
Powie Posted August 25 Posted August 25 Tryed to use the special downsized textures (installer) today.... At the beginning of the session, I think its better, but after 2 hours, it went very worse..... frames dropped to 2o-25 ... Impossible to do longhaules.....
Fornax Posted August 27 Author Posted August 27 Reinstalled 2024. Reinstalled A350. Cleared WASM. Seemed to have helped actually. Still more demanding than any other AC, but performance wise(fps), its closer to SU2 now. Still those Asobo bugs, as Xenon mentioned, - mainthread load up, just going to meny/controls degrades performance etc...
Dadriel Posted September 4 Posted September 4 I have some huge performance issues with this plane since SU3 which have nothing to with the performance degradation mentioned earlier. For this test I just took off at an empty airport (MKS LSZH) and flew out in a straight line over the alps. Baseline performance on the runway is borderline for my perf target of 80FPS, but still reasonable considering the scenery and city around it. Once I take off it becomes problematic then. It starts stuttering hugely and dropping, but only intermittently. The lowest I have seen was below 20 FPS with FG! And it always show in huge spikes in Main Thread, Manipulators and CoherentGT. I already tried clearing WASM, but to no avail.
late9 Posted September 10 Posted September 10 Its awful.. I have the same.. I will not be buying anymore INI aircraft.. I bought the A300 (premium) the performance was so bad I had to uninstall it and go back to the compatible version.. The A350 is about the same for me. What's amazing to me is they pump out updates, and never address any of these issues.
DJSean00 Posted October 10 Posted October 10 I've also seen a significant drop off in performance post SU3 release. iniSteven Posted October 13 Posted October 13 Hi all, We've seen reports not just with our aircraft of people having degraded performance in Su3. I would suggest giving the Su4 update a try as I personally have experienced much better performance on my lower-end system 🙂 -Steven AMD 7800x3d - 64gb RAM - nVidia RTX 2080

I ve heard people having worse perf in SU4. I am also one of the persons, struggeling with performance in SU3, ONLY with the A350 by Ini. So, i am kind of wondering. Its not meant to be offending. Yes, that's my suggestion as that is my personal experience. Microsoft have made a lot of improvements particularly in VRAM management in SU4 that should help with performance, and I have seen users complaining of mainthread issues in Su3 that seem to have been remedied in Su4. 1 AMD 7800x3d - 64gb RAM - nVidia RTX 2080
