Alright iniBuilds, enough with the vague “we’re working on it” replies. This bug where the A350 spawns in random positions on MSFS2020 has been around for over two months now. It’s been mentioned on the forums multiple times, and still the only response we get is the same line over and over.

Here’s the reality:

  • This isn’t some minor annoyance — it’s game-breaking.
  • The so-called “temporary fix” of just reloading the sim doesn’t even work anymore. The other day I loaded in three times in a row and each time the aircraft spawned wherever it wanted.
  • You’ve said before it’s “difficult to reproduce.” How? Everyone on 2020 is getting this, literally 9 out of 10 load-ins it spawns incorrectly. (As far as I’m aware this is not an issue in 2024) How can you not reproduce that? If I’m misunderstanding what you mean by that, then please explain, because right now it just feels like we’re being brushed off.

We as your customers aren’t asking for miracles. We get that bugs take time to fix. But what’s unacceptable is the total lack of clear, honest updates. “We’re working on it” doesn’t cut it anymore. If you can’t fix it yet, then at least give us a straight answer on where you are in the process. We deserve that much, especially for a premium product like this.

Right now it just feels… well, pathetic. Two months of silence except for copy-paste replies while one of the most critical bugs in the aircraft remains completely unfixed, with a whole bunch of updates being released with other fixes and add-ons, yet the game breaking bug doesn’t receive so much as a mention in the updates. (As far as I could see) .

So please:

  • Tell us what the actual root cause is (or what you think it is).
  • Give us some kind of timeline or progress update, not “soon.”
  • Be transparent with your community instead of hiding behind vague statements.

We’ve supported you guys and bought this aircraft in good faith, but this is beyond frustrating now.

Did you do uninstall re-install after the last update now recently? I’ll admit I haven’t tried it again recently but I tried it so many times when this bug initially started but I just kinda gave up after a week of struggles

I can feel for you people, especially Dehan Cilliers, that enough is enough. After bringing out big birds before, why is the A350 so different?  I tried and made headway to get the planes recognized by the Sim, but they won't spawn in and I am faced with a CTD every time! Now I just fly the PMDG planes and I am boycotting the manufacturer till they get it working, reliably, No more "we are working on it".

has their been any update on this I have this happen every single time I load the aircraft now or is their perhaps a workaround until then?

Yes I did still happening for me maybe I should just wait until they address the problem although I do want to fly the A350 pretty disappointed.

I'm in the same position as @Dehan Cilliers I'm just tired of this all.

I have MSFS020 and GSX, and I mainly use EGLL.

I have Navigraph on my Laptop and I can see the aircraft moving while spawning so until I changed the settings under advisement to ignore collisions the sim was crashing before it was fully spawned.

I was testing the aircraft from RJTT and I could not even spawn at the right runway. it always spawned at a runway, but not the one I had chosen.

This is really annoying. After the update today to V1.1.6 the random spawning is getting worse. Have look at the start at EDDM  :-(((((

Hope this gets fixed in the next update. Best regards Helmut

Hello,

Try reloading the flight (back to menu then to gate). That should work as a temporary fix until we can finally figure out what exactly is causing this.
Apologies for the inconvenience.

Thank you 🙂

Hello Eddie I already do that like 3 times but never fix should I reinstall the airplane ?

Unfortunately not much I can help with if that work-around doesn't work. Try giving it a re-install and let me know if that changes anything. May be worth clearing your WASM folder as well.

I have now reinstalled the plane, and since then it did not happen again. So if this is a workaround it means: If there is a new update, do NOT just Update the plane but deinstall and install newly. Lets hope, that there is a real solution for this bug in the future.

Best regards Helmut

Aside from the two "workarounds" mentioned above, there is not much we can provide trouble-shooting wise unfortunately. We will continue to look into why this is happening and are hopeful in bringing out a fix sooner rather than later.

Your patience and understanding is very much appreciated.
