mcphailtom Posted Monday at 06:59 AM Posted Monday at 06:59 AM (edited) Any updates on this @Eddie ? Understand this is an issue imposed upon you guys but any indication of a timeline would be great as the plane is an unusable investment for those of us that only fly in VR Edited Monday at 08:46 AM by mcphailtom

Unfortunately not much I can share at this time. We're aware and looking into the quickest and most effective fix. When it comes to VR, the issue goes deeper into a platform-level problem which naturally makes things take longer; that's why I am not confident in providing you false hope in the form of an ETA. 1 1 2 EddieCommunity Manager iniBuilds Ltd. | inibuilds.com

Understand, thanks for keeping us up to date none the less. Very saddening. Out of interest is there an expected impact on future releases for VR users?
ScarfaceUK Posted Monday at 06:44 PM Posted Monday at 06:44 PM I purchased the A350 nine days ago and as someone that sims almost exclusively in VR, I've been following this thread with interest. I appreciate the general tone here seems to be forgiving but as a new customer, I want the product I've paid for (and it isn't exactly cheap as far as DLC goes) to actually work. I'm not having this issue in any of the other planes I fly in VR and from what's been said in the thread, it sounds like inibuilds gambled on something being changed between the beta and final release, and that gamble didn't pay off. So yes, I get the sentiment here and admit I don't know all of the detail. However, for me it's as simple as the fact I've paid £72 for a product I can't use, from a company that can't even provide an ETA for when I will be able to use it. If this is something that isn't going to be fixed in the near term then I'll pursue a refund. I'm not ok with being out of pocket whilst waiting indefinitely for a working product. 1
mcphailtom Posted Monday at 09:23 PM Posted Monday at 09:23 PM @ScarfaceUKCompletely fair! I think we're all with you on the sentiment and perhaps have been more forgiving only because many were here to witness the way the change was dropped on the developers. That being said you are right, it's an expensive add-on and it's reasonable to expect it works as advertised.....I am right there with you. 1

Do you have any indication of what this means for VR users and future products like the A340?
IniSteve Posted Monday at 11:07 PM Posted Monday at 11:07 PM Hi all. I have some positive news. Just loaded into the SU4beta update and it seems whatever change they made affecting SU3's LOD boundary in the VR sphere is fixed or reverted. The 350's cockpit is correct and fully interactable. I will continue to test this during the life cycle of the SU4 beta but this is a positive start. Perf is also screaming in VR but that's a topic for another thread 😉 2
mcphailtom Posted Monday at 11:10 PM Posted Monday at 11:10 PM @IniSteve This is wonderful news thanks for sharing

maury1 Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago One sniglet in SU4 Batteries and oil are at zero and need to be replaced. No big deal, but needs to be done if are doing a cold and dark start. Other than that it flies great. Smooth

Glad to hear it's working well despite that
Rene Feijen Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) SU4beta: All is now good after complete deinstall and reinstall. In fact today I am in sim heaven, Inibuilds A350 at EGBB, totally smooth takeoff and 55-60 fps, very very very smooth! No stutters while panning my head, all clear and readable in the cockpit. WOW!
