skydiver6547 Posted Friday at 12:12 PM Posted Friday at 12:12 PM I wanted to perform an RNP approach and activated the approach mode for this purpose. The brackets for the deviation of the LNAV and VNAV deviation did not appear and the aircraft did not start to descend at the intended point. In my opinion, something is wrong here. Unless I am mistaken, the logic worked before the last update. 1
LineDX Posted Friday at 12:35 PM Posted Friday at 12:35 PM Same issue with CYYC RNP 17L. Did not capture virtual glide path 3' slope at 4800ft on final approach point. The pfd shows ILS app whereas FMS shows RNP approach. It was fine before this update..
LineDX Posted Saturday at 05:04 PM Posted Saturday at 05:04 PM (edited) Tested with 1.1.4. VGHS Rnp 14 worked normal. Edited Saturday at 05:06 PM by LineDX
Bianfable Posted Saturday at 06:14 PM Posted Saturday at 06:14 PM I don't think it's just RNAV. It seems every approach is broken right now, except ILS. I tried an LPV approach (GCRR RNP 03-Z) and a GLS approach (LSZH GLS 14) and in both cases selecting the LS pushbutton showed ILS in amber on the PFD and pushing the APPR button also showed ILS, even though no ILS approach was selected. No guidance was available at all in both cases. 1
frank_m Posted Saturday at 06:52 PM Posted Saturday at 06:52 PM I did today a flight to EDDM 26L RNAV approach. No issue. I'm using Navigraph Data in simulator as well as in the A350.

Bianfable Posted Sunday at 08:27 AM Posted Sunday at 08:27 AM (edited) OK, thanks for the tip! I uninstalled, cleared WASM folder, re-installed 1.1.4, upgraded Navigraph data to 2508r1 und did some experiments: ✅ ILS: LSZH ILS 14 worked normally as always ✅ GLS: LSZH GLS 14 is fixed now and works again as expected ✅ SLS: LSZH RNP 14 with LPV works correctly ❌ SLS: GCRR RNP 03-Z with LPV does not work (no FREQ/CHAN filled, no guidance available) ☑️ FLS: LSZH RNP 14 with SLS deselected works in principle (F-LOC and F-GS arm correctly), but when activating LS pushbuttons it still shows SLS on the PFD (should be FLS instead) Edited Sunday at 08:30 AM by Bianfable add version
skydiver6547 Posted Sunday at 08:59 AM Author Posted Sunday at 08:59 AM I confirm, problem is solved with update 1.1.4.

It does do something, but I've never seen it do it correctly
